Frigid Recycle Bin

Frigid Fluid Co. is proud to announce the launch of the first bottle recycling program for the death care industry.

The bottles we use for our embalming fluid and other prep room products are made of totally-recyclable resin. We recognize the obligation to recycle as many of these bottles as possible. All customers who enroll in the program will receive a free recycling bin (shown above) for direct collection according to their local waste management policies.

Plastics manufacturers that I talk to are continually seeking additional recycled feedstock to use to make new products. By collecting these bottles for recycling, we will take what used to be considered waste and turn them into a valuable commodity.

The death care industry uses an estimated 2.8 million plastic bottles each year. Please join our program and help keep as many of these bottles as possible from needlessly finding their way to the landfills.

Program Terms and Guidelines

We ask that all program members agree to and follow these simple guidelines while enrolled:
  • If you are an existing customer your account must be in good standing in order for your application to be approved.

  • The free recycling bin will be placed in the prep room for immediate collection of bottles after rinsing them out.

  • The caps from the bottles are not currently recyclable and should not be placed in the bin.

  • If you have a web site we ask that you proudly display the membership badge on it.

  • To ensure proper credit of your membership discount on fluid orders, we strongly recommend placing all orders directly with your service rep, or use the fax order form.

  • Discount offer valid only on Frigid-manufactured prep room products. Click here for a list of eligible products.
