Brian Miller, Chair of the Mortuary Science Department at Ivy Tech Community College invited Matt Smith of the Frigid Fluid Co. to present a three hour training program for his students on April 6, 2010. Step by step slides presented by Matt Smith taught the students that even the most difficult cases can be viewable. Cases that were otherwise in the past considered non-viewable now are. Matt's program illustrates how the most severe trauma is no more difficult than a puzzle, and with just a little time the most inexperienced embalmers can produce incredible "open casket" results. "Matt's seminars and techniques are exactly what we teach our students everyday," said Miller. "Using Matt's techniques are not only good for the funeral home, but necessary for the family's healthy grieving process."
