Embalming - cavity
Cavity King
CHARACTERISTICS AND FEATURES Sold 24 bottles/case
When the security of plenty of formaldehyde and good penetration is desired, we recommend Cavity King. At 25 index this cavity fluid furnishes excellent preservative power to protect against visceral putrefaction and odor development. Combined with a particularly effective penetrant, the formaldehyde in Cavity King can reach the hard-to-get spots to assure the embalmer of well preserved cavity areas and reduced risk of complications. Cavity King can also be used for treating infant cases where arterial embalming is difficult to accomplish.
HOW TO USE THE FLUID For regular cavity work on an average sized body, 1 or 2 pints of Cavity King are recommended. For larger bodies or bodies where decomposition is well under way, at least two pints or more are recommended. Professional judgment should always dictate in these cases. For use as an external pack for skin slip, bed sores, and other regions of decomposition, saturate cotton or toweling with Cavity King and place it over the affected area. Cover the pack with plastic sheeting to improve contact and to control the fumes.
